Dr Heather Elgood MBE will be sharing some of her extensive knowledge on Indian Art, specifically the Mughal Empire, and the embodiment of Imperial power in the 16th and 17th centuries. Examples will be taken from the recent V&A exhibition, ‘The Great Mughals : Art, Architecture and Opulence’, together with some paintings from the Windsor Royal Library.
