We are excited to welcome Alex Anglesey, the 8th Marquess of Anglesey, to the library to talk about his recent biography The Great Survivor of the Tudor Age – The Life and Times of Lord William Paget, of whom he is a direct descendant. Lord William Paget served Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I, and is often referred to as the power behind the throne. This will be a fascinating evening for history lovers, and particularly those interested in the Tudor period.
