This year’s Summer Reading Challenge has been announced.
The theme – ‘Ready, Set, Read!’ – is all about sports, games and play. The Reading Agency is partnering with the Youth Sport Trust to celebrate play and encourage children to engage in games and sports in any way that best suits them. As in previous years, children who finish the challenge will get a medal and certificate, with opportunities to win stickers along the way. Under 4s can take part in a mini challenge with their own special card and stickers. This free reading challenge will run all summer until September 9th.
