Owing to the rapidly escalating situation concerning the coronavirus pandemic, you will be aware that FOWL felt the responsible decision to avoid any unnecessary risk to the community was to postpone our March guest speaker Lord Jay of Ewelme. This event has now been rescheduled for November 20th at St Leonard’s Church, when we hope life is back on a more even keel. All tickets will of course be valid for this event and we do hope that you will all put the date in your diary and keep your tickets safe! Should you require a refund, that is of course, available.
Looking ahead to our Spring and Summer programme, in the light of the ongoing crisis, we have also elected to postpone both our speakers for May and June – these have both been rescheduled for next year. We hope that we will still be able to hold our AGM, due to take place on May 21st – but this will depend on the national circumstances and we will do our best to keep everyone informed.
The Trustees, librarians and volunteers send all our best wishes to everyone in this period of crisis.
